Hi,
I would love to use Figma as the single source of truth for product requirements, task management and the final documentation of how things are implemented, but here is the problem I am facing:
- I use Figma comments for feedback with the designer
- I mark a frame or section in Figma for dev and it serves as the master for the developers on what the final app should look like
- However, the processing and logic of the design can’t be easily made in Figma so I have to use FigJam, but then figjams and I can’t easily link figjams with Figma boards
I would love to have a way to break/group my Figma and figjams into tasks, assign each to a developer and track what’s in progress, done or stuck. Imagine a situation - i have a final design. it has a button to save. I would select the button with a pop-up message on Figma, add a small FigJam IFTTT flowchart to it, mark this as “ready for dev”, it would then automatically appear as for example like a card on FigJam kanban where it can be assigned to a developer. it doesn’t need to be a card per se. it could be like a special object like component, a comment which be managed and have status etc
the beauty of this is that everything has to be done according to Figma. if something needs to change, I can assign an individual element back to designer to rework and then back to developer until it’s done. If a flowchart logic changes, it will be on Figma and I would be able to come back to my design anytime, click on an element, find the implemented logic and it would just be a perfect documentation
