I can't go back to UI2 from UI3

Thanks for flagging this, and our apologies for the confusion. We noticed the issue last week and it seems to have been fixed. Are you still missing the “Go back to previous UI” option?

Have you refreshed the page since yesterday?

I don’t have access to UI3 yet even though I have an Org account. The option to sign up for UI3 beta release has also been removed from the popup menu, so I have no idea whats happening with he roll out.

Yes, I even cleared site data such as cache and cookies.

Hello, any news on this topic? I am currently teaching a class of students and I need all of them to have the same UI so I instructed lucky few who already got the update to UI3 to revert back to UI2 but they are also missing the option in the Help center. It makes tutoring of a group with mixed UIs unnecessarily complicated. Thanks for any ideas or hints how to proceed!

Sorry for the trouble. After checking internally, while UI3 is still in beta, users on paid plans as well as users who created their account prior to June 2024 will be able to toggle back to the previous UI.

As your account was created after June 2024, you have been automatically set up with UI3. To help you get familiarized with the new design, we recommend checking out our Help Center article, Navigating UI3: Figma’s new UI:

It’s strange that my account was created in 2022 unpaid but still… No option whatsoever to toggle back to the fine previous UI. Please help!

Hello Celine, I am certain that at least some of my students have accounts that have been created before June 2024 and yet all of them are missing the option to revert back to the old Figma UI. Would you please look into this issue? It is quite important in the field of education to have such a setting that unifies all students’ experience. Thank you!
