I can NOT get the text box to hug the text

I can’t for the life of me get the text box to hug the text cleanly. Figma used to be able to do this. Seems like there’s constantly too much padding below the text itself.

SOLVED: Align and style your text by trimming any extra spacing

Hey All, Our team has investigated this issue, and it’s likely not a bug. Figma uses the whole vertical size to position middle alignment, so if the glyphs of a certain font are unusually top/bottom aligned already, they’ll look strange. This screenshot shows highlighting of the different text laid out in figma and a 3rd party tool. We can see that TTCommon is just very offset.
