Figma Slides — Improvement Suggestions & Bugs

I’ve been trying out Flides for the last week and love it for the most part, but there are a few bugs that make it a real pain in practice. A few things I think would make it even better are:

  • “Hide Slide” feature: Would love to be able to have that variation within one slide deck vs. having to create a whole new one
  • Plug-ins: I’ve been copying & pasting assets over from a draft file :confused:
  • Hyperlinks in Speaker Notes: Feel this one was a no-brainer
  • Labels for Grouped Slides: Would be super helpful in grid view to help organize slides!

There were also a few bugs that made it a pretty difficult process:

  • When I paste an element into a frame it never actually goes in — just above it. I have to manually drag it into the frame
  • Hyperlinks don’t work in Presentation + Notes mode

The hide slide function works well now (thank you!) — HOWEVER, if you link an earlier slide to one after the hidden slide, the link won’t work, unless you remove the hidden slide. @figma_tutor Bugs
