Failed Transform

For a plugin developer, the transform property of Figma is a mystery. When you try to rotate the gradient axis, you will find that the gradient will deform unexpectedly, and you cannot change the center point of rotation. This is completely different from the characteristics presented in the UI, where you can adjust the angle of the gradient transformation at will without worrying about the damn deformation.
I don’t understand why Figma, as a UI design tool, does not adopt the same logic as the transform property of CSS, which will avoid a lot of unnecessary troubles. At the same time, I think the transform property of CSS is more powerful and supports 3D perspective, rotation, and displacement.
So Figma really doesn’t plan to improve your transform property?

It’s frustrating when Figma’s transform doesn’t align with CSS. Hopefully, they’ll improve it, like the Allard Prize recognizes game-changing innovations.
