Question

Export Frames to PDF - Error

Misty_Leiter

I want to export frames in a file into a single PDF. The containers are frames, not groups. They export individually just fine. When I go to File> Export frames to PDF, I get an error that says “There are no top level frames on the current page to export”.

Hey @Misty_Leiter ,
Can you double check if you have any Frames present in your file? You can read more about Frames here: Frames in Figma Can you also try to export only one top-level frame to see if that works?

Also, does the issue happens on browser, desktop app or both?
If it happens on the desktop app, usually clearing out the cache can help. (here’s an article how to do this).

If this workaround doesn’t help, I’d recommend you to reach out to the support with a copy your file so the support team can try to replicate and investigate: here
Please use your Figma account email, include a link to the file, and add support-share@figma.com as Editor, so they can take a closer look. Thanks!
