Hi there,

Thanks for posting and sharing the screenshot. I understand you hope to show the selected layers in prototype view.

From the screenshot you’ve shared, it looks like the layers such as rectangles, images, texts, and so on are not in the frames which should be displayed in the prototype view. To solve the issue, you need to put all the layers in a frame.

You can learn more about how prototypes work with frames in this article: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040314193-Guide-to-prototyping-in-Figma

I also created a very short, simple sample video to explain why your layers are not shown in the prototype. I hope it helps, but if you have further questions, please feel free to post again!

Thanks,
Toku

I’m having this same issue. Items I have in design mode not showing in Presentation mode. I’ve ungrouped and brought to front. Still not visible. Help!

Hi there,

Are you putting your objects in a frame?

Figma Learn - Help Center

Would you be able to share the layer structure if possible?

Thanks,
Toku

Hi Toku, I imported these from Sketch and to be honest, I’m not sure what the layer structure is. I’m new to Figma and still adjusting from Sketch.

Anyone else who can offer assistance? This issue is preventing me from showing our developers what we need created. Thanks.
