Comments just disappeared on a file for us. Has there been any resolution?

SAME HERE – all comments have vanished both online and in app and they aren’t in the history either. This is NOT OK!
Having this issue too.
Comments have gone missing… anyway to fix this? Have checked to make sure they’re visible and have restarted my app. It is happening to my entire team.

Yes, as mentioned above - this is a service disruption that we’re already investigating.
The comments in my Figma document all randomly disappeared. I looked through the resolved comments, but it appears the comments are deleted entirely. How can I resolve this?
An hour ago my Figma app updated, and all of my comments are gone. I’ve tried reseting it, opening Figma from the browser even tried opening it from a windows, mac, and iPhone, but i cannot see my comments anywhere, is somebody experiencing the same issue and is there a way to resolve it?
Same thing happened to me. All comments just disappeared and Figma was unusable – and I was on a conference call with all the major stakeholders presenting when everything went down. About 3 minutes ago comments re-appeared, but not before they’d made me look incompetent on a call with the entire executive team.

Same here, in December 2024. Added comments in the file previously, today I see none of them. I try adding more, and as soon as I add one, it disppears. Reloading All brought them back.
Mine have now be restored
I cleared my cache in Figma and that did the trick for me. Hopefully this helps!
Just go to help and type “cache” and it should be the first option.

@Gwen3 is correct! We launched a fix for the service disruption yesterday. Please refresh your tabs/clear your cache and your comments should be restored.
