Cannot restore deleted file being owner of the file

Hi,
Someone else created the file and i became owner of the file. now it has been deleted by someone without my permission. i can’t find an option to restore the file from the deleted file.
Can i know who deleted it and how can i restore it

Check deleted files from your drafts, and there you will find the deleted file to restore it.

Hi Raj! Sorry to hear you are having issues restoring your file.

I can confirm only users with edit permissions on the files themselves will have the possibility to restore them from their Drafts folder. If you had “can edit” permissions on these files, you should be able to find them with the filter “Created by anyone” ticked:

If you still can’t find these files, I would suggest you ask your colleagues to check as well with the filter “Created by anyone”.

The file has been deleted but can’t see option to restore the file. I am the owner of the current file and ownership was transferred to me. Under delete tab, i can only see option to add favorite and duplicate to draft. can’t see option to restore the file

I checked with him, who had edit permission but he also can’t find the file from his deleted folder. When i am the owner why can’t option to restore the file. why person with edit permissions only have that option. i can see this file is deleted but not having option to restore it. i need this file because it was the base of my work for last 3 months, pls help me to recover it

Please refer directly these details to our support team within your ticket as we need to investigate further (as they may have a look into your permissions right by checking the link of your file etc).
