I really enjoy the new UI of hiding the tool panels to reduce distractions from Layers panel in most of time. But I figure out the Pages panel is way more frequent to be used than the previous one.

I would recommend adding HOVER interaction to display the Pages panel even the whole panel for a temporary selecting, just like how most Notes software does with sidebar.
