Turning off "snap to pixel grid" should turn snapping off!

Another frustrated user here! I’ve got an icon with curves that I can’t get to the right size and I am not happy about it. One extra little annoyance: I can set the dimensions to a decimal by hand and the frame itself appears at those dimensions, but the content inside of it still behaves like the frame has snapped. Oy.

This is seriously still an issue? I want to redraw a logo into vector and as soon as I try adjusting curves with the pen tools, the individual curve guides also snap to grid, going all sorts of different directions and not allowing me to draw what I need to draw

Why did you even bother to add a drawing mode if you still cannot undo snapping to the pixel grid? What’s the point of this whole mode if I don’t have precise control over my illustration’s details? 
Please fix this, it’s been frustrating me for years! 

This is definitely still an issue in 2026! When working on small dimensions it would be very helpful to be able to move objects in such a way that they do not snap to the pixel grid. Currently the work around is to type fractional positions, it’s less than ideal. Thanks!

I can’t believe how old this thread is but here I am. Another designer who wasted too much time on something so basic, unable to believe that the greatest design app of all time does not have the option to ignore the pixel grid… Come on guys. Just fix that already.

Can’t find any solution yet.
This is no good, especially when you need to do a fast Mockup to send for review, where by fast meaning you are doing everything not in pixel perfect. But it keep one snapping to pixel grid which causing problem

Just trying to move a vertex on a vector icon half a pixel, and it snaps. Really annoying! The AI bot from Figma is not even saying “I hear you” anymore to this issue, so “Figma Draw”, that they were so proud of, is pretty much useless to me.
