Toggle visibility of on-canvas video playback controls

Hello everyone!
Somehow Figma design started to show tags on video in canvas. Not in jam, not in dev mode or prototype, just basic canvas.

Didn’t find any options to turn it off, figma support agent didn’t help.
I have no HTML tags option in right sidebar, no annotations enabled and such, how can I turn them off?

    Great news, Figma now has a design-specific behavior where the video tag and controls will only appear on selection. This is currently rolling out to all users these next days.

      Ah this is so distracting! There is no way to hide these labels?

        Is there a way to toggle this or have it come out in a more subtle way? I literally can’t work like this. The play buttons are incredibly distracting and are also hindering my process. This is urgent. Please.

          I think this feature should only be in FigJam (or other Figma subproducts), not Figma Design.

            The way it continues to litter the canvas even when a frame’s content is clipped is really the chef’s kiss. A+

              These grey gif labels never showed up on the figma canvas before the last design update. Now this is all I see in this document. I don’t know what is triggering them or how to turn them off and they are distracting. Is anyone else seeing this?
