Tedious to constantly toggle the container's clipping mask on and off to edit content

When prototyping vertical scrolling, I find it tedious to constantly toggle the container's clipping mask on and off to edit content. Are there any workarounds to avoid this?

I don’t want to create a component because the content changes with the progress of prototype.

Figma should automatically turn on clipping mask in Present mode and turn it off in edit mode.

I agree. Perhaps an MVP for this would be to allow “Clip Content” to be governed by a local boolean variable. That way, all one would need to do to toggle clipping for all frames with vertical scrolling would be to change the variable.

Ideally, though, something automated in Figma when switching between edit and prototyping views should be the end goal, imo.
