When I swap overlays, I expect “On Click > Back” to swap back to the previous overlay. But it doesn’t work like that.

I suggest adding a “Swap overlay back” action. It will help in cases when several overlays lead to another overlay and the specific previous overlay is known only while interacting in a prototype.

Hey Tomer, thanks for the feedback! We’ll pass this onto our team for consideration.

I wonder if there’re any news about this request because I’ve been experiencing the same need for a while.

This feature is crucial for basic workflow.

Please add ASAP.

Exact scenario:

First Overlay > Dropdown Overlay > Swap Overlay Back (First Overlay)

yes please!

I could use that!

Plus one! If not “swap back” then the ability to add “move out” animation to a second or third swap so we can approximate the “swap back” action and create multiple flows within overlays.

I agree, and would very much value the flexibility that a ‘Back overlay’ option could offer.

I’m often having to prototype modals with ‘stepper’ workflow for guiding users through multi-step progression. And given the variability in each step, a straightforward “back from where you came” would be a huge efficiency bump.
