These are new and improved color formats that replace hex and rgb. They will soon become the standard in web browsers. They open up more colors than are currently possible.

Would love to see native support for OKLCH after watching today’s talk at Config 2025 by Irina and Arthur from Evil Martians. Hoping this gets to Figma soon!

Agreed! I would love to see Figma supporting OKLCH.

As the European Accessibility Act has been taken into place in the EU, the OKLCH/OKLab support can be a good first action, in addition to using the contrast check tool to master the contrast between a foreground and a background color.
