Padding on all elements

Posted this a few years ago, figured I’d bring it up again since the original post is closed.

I wish I could add padding values to any element in Figma. It is possible to add padding to any elements on the web. Currently, I need to wrap an element in an autolayout in order to give it padding, resulting in lots of unnecessary nested autolayouts.
