Is it possible to change default font in Figma?

+1 - it’s a thing i do 40 times a day

+1 — it’s a thing i have to also do every single time i create a new file and it’s really annoying! i know you can select a text field object (with desired font and text styles), and go to edit > set default properties but it only sets it as default for that session. if you close your file and reopen it, you have to change the font again 😕

it would be nice to at least be able to set the default font at the individual file level, if not the entire workspace settings

Couldn’t agree more. Allowing users to set default font for all files created with the ability to overwrite at the per-file level would be such a time saver.

Currently, the font used for these two languages is Arial I think which is very bad and unreadable and ugly.
My suggestion is to replace it with Vazirmatn, a popular free font with more than 19.0 million users and used by many companies, including Telegram.

An option to choose different default typefaces for each language would go a long way. 

For example, choosing “Inter” typeface for Latin and “Vazirmatn” for Persian/Arabic texts.
