I would like to suggest/share an idea of having a reset current changes for cases that users not remember all the changes they made and wanted to reset all changes or maybe there will be a list of files that are being changed and pick which one to reset its changes.

You can use Version History to restore a file version without current changes
I think you misunderstood my concern. I know your point but my concern is that, in my file that has lots of published changes, then I make another changes which is not published yet. Let say I did 50 changes, then in some reason I want to discard other changes. Let say 20 changes that I want to exclude in my publish, and it’s hard to point it one by one. And users think about to reset all changes instead.
So that is why, much better if there’s a reset button to reset all changes.
