I may have worded it incorrectly, but it would be great if I could choose the direction I wanted an component to expand in auto-layout. Nothing fancy: top to bottom, bottom to top, left to right, right to left-the basics.
Right now getting something to expand from right to left is a pain, and it doesn’t play nice with auto-layout.
Please, please add this.

Do you mean you’d like to control the alignment of the objects individually? Can you clarify what you intend to do?
In the meantime, you can choose how to align child objects within an auto layout frame (more information in our help center article: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040451373-Explore-auto-layout-properties#alignment- . Hope it helps!
