I want to be able to export designs in PDF for print (CMYK/Hi-resolution)

For now, I was using the plugin TinyImage Compressor but it’s no longer free and I don’t understand why Figma can have this option on it’s own. I’d have to pay $456 a year.

If Figma has paper sizes, why don’t they have this option… you can’t print quality good quality colors in RGB. I’m going to have to go back to Adobe for print files.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I am increasingly using Figma in my design work, and since I started using it, I have gradually come to love this product. I no longer use other software like Adobe for design work. I also recommend Figma to clients and colleagues alike.

However, every time I encounter a project that requires printing, Figma always has various compatibility issues, which is very frustrating for me. I have to resort to using other software that I am reluctant to use again for print-related design work.

I know that color space conversion and other related issues are significant challenges, but as a user, I still hope the Figma team can notice this demand. 😢 😔

This is my most requested feature as someone who does a lot of print work but want to use Auto layout to make things go much faster without the difficulty of brining it over to illustrator or Indesign.

Hello, it might not solve many of the issues here but just wanted to mention that I did just release a plugin that converts any image to CMYK layers:

Happy to add new features if its helpful but missing something!

CMYK and 300DPI color setup for print design as we don’t want to use other software for our printing needs. as Figma is only user friendly tool nowdays.
