Assign User to Multiple Workspaces

Yes, this feature is also needed on our side. It’s illogical to restrict assignment to workspaces when Figma advocates collaboration.

I’m also new to enterprise. I was surprised to find that you’re restricted to only 1 workspace.

It’s a must-have feature for companies in which Design has its own department, but designers work daily with other cross-functional teams

I’m having the same challenge here of having a creative department that works across multiple internal teams. We need to be able to have access to multiple workspaces and can’t seem to find a way to do that. 

We are having the same challenge. We have designers who work in multiple internal teams, and some internal team members who need to belong both to the main design Workspace, and to a special Workplace group specific to their team location.

It would be great to have this feature please! Our organization is very much into cross-collaboration and gathering everyone into the a single Figma organization is great. But because there is limited folder management, it would be great to use Workspaces as a way to separate management of files/resources but also allow users to be part of multiple workspaces.

Curious why workspaces were built with this restriction - was this intentional (does Figma believe there would be issues with users being in more than one workspace), or is this a matter of cost to build the feature?
