Is there any plan to be able to create the gradient itself as a variable? For example, if I wanted some themes to have a solid background variable but others to have a gradient?

Agree, this is needed to make color theme support truly robust.
It would be great to have this please. Design tokens/variables are such foundational assets that it really breaks the ability to provide comprehensive parity across design and dev tools. Esp when we’re enabling so much AI capabilities.
