It has always been my ambition to become a nurse, but when it came the day of the HESI examination, I freaked out. I simply could not figure out where to start and felt so much pressure. One evening, I was browsing and came across a HESI exam help site with practice exams and ideas for studying. I thought maybe I should try this. I started to follow the suggestions step by step, and my confidence built. When the day of the exam finally arrived, I was nervous, but I was prepared. A few days after the completion of the exam, I was able to view my results - I passed! I was relieved, and it proved to me that with the right help and a lot of work, anything you wish to achieve may be obtainable. Now I am one step closer to my goal and more motivated than before.

I’ve been trying Figma and Figjam to replace Milanote or Miro Board and it’s close but not quite there yet, especially for using video in either Figma or Figjam. Below are some pros I’ve found and some suggested improvements for both Figma and Figjam when it comes to dealing with image and video especifically. Figjam:Feels a bit better for sharing video for feedback because it can be played directly on the board, but then there’s no option to showcase the file name and that is very important for Motion Graphics or 3D animators because we need to be able to reference the file we have locally. Milanote displays the filename automatically and I think it would be great if we could have the option to showcase the file always, or not, or maybe only on hover. The fact that we can type text and DIRECTLY tag other people without needing to create a comment is great, especially for feedback. Because I use slides modularly, sometimes I have several presentations that start with the same slide.  However, on my thumbnails, I want to be able to see which presentation the file is for by selecting a different slide on the deck as my thumbnail

Please activate the rulers/guide function for Slides!! I’ve been struggling to align context across multiple pages.

Hi Figma staff, This might be a dumb question but why doesn’t a keyboard shortcut exist for ‘Go to main component’ ? Working with components and instances is a core workflow so wouldn’t a keyboard shortcut be as important as ‘Create component’ and ‘Detach instance’? Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the new feature but would be awesome to have the freedom to change the orientation of the mind map. My mind really works in more vertical space in that sense and would help me a lot 🙏

Annotations are a great idea, but I think it would be beneficial to allow them to be added without being in dev mode. When something is marked for dev its already a finalised design. Adding annotations before marking as dev mode would save time and allow annotations to be added as we go along.

It was the final semester of university, and the weight of upcoming online exams was starting to feel impossible. How cool would it be if Figma allows for deep-linking in prototypes!Right now when I try to deep-link to, for example, Spotify, in my prototype it will prefix the `spotify://xxxxxx` with `https://` so the deep-link is broken and navigates me to a webpage that does not exist.Allowing this would extend the possibilities of prototypes to interact with the outside world! E.g. Microsoft Teams → `msteams://`, Instagram → `instagram://`, slack → `slack://` and many more.I can see how this might be a security concern, but in theory I can put any bad link in there if it starts with `https://`

I love how 1st April gave to us. Indeed.I am now harder to keep concentrating  on my work due to using too much technology. So if we can solve this problem then we should make something to keep us working,,,with fun!!Basic - Just a plugin to collect the distance of my mouse movement on Figma. it is about 4px = 1 cm if I am correct. If I keep working hard...I want to know how far I travel to this long journey.Advance.. I need game that I can choose what to build and if the screen is active for 8 hours, the thing I want to build will be done. and I can put it on my hall of fame which other people can see. I need progress animation along 8 hrs. So now the more I use figma...The stuffs I can build haha.Is this look fun???

It’d be great to be able to auto-play and loop a Figma Slides presentation.

I dont know who design this slide editor, but it is way too stupid no function to apply the same background to all page. Even when we search on the help its not there. For this one reason is enough to avoid it. Rubbish

Hi. There are about 30 people on my team using Figma, and about 10 marketers and product managers with editor privileges. Since editors other than designers are not accustomed to working with Figma, they double-click when selecting a page in Figma and change the name of the page without knowing it. This operation causes the page name to revert back to something like “Page1” many times (without even he himself realizing that he has changed it). Another person tries to change it back, but sometimes it is very problematic because it can be reverted to the wrong name. To prevent this, I would like Figma to consider making it an option to double click to change the page name. Since page names are not changed very often, I think it is sufficient to be able to rename them from right-click.

I want to share my figpal with others, but I’m not sure where they are. Can you add the little people icon bubbles to the corner of projects and files so we can see where active users are to let our figpals collaborate together?

From time to time we use Figma to create high-fidelity animations, eliminating the need for additional hand-off tools or specs.This is nice, but viewing animations within Figma is difficult when it’s about quick microinteractions or I want to figure out what’s going on wrong. A sort of debugging possibility. Specifically for Devs.If you remember Principle, it had a very useful feature where if you held ⇧ Shift while viewing a transition/animation, it would slow down that animation by ~10×. Only while holding, not as a state change.Would be great to get this feature as well + the ability to change the slow down speed (additional keys / setting?) Cheers

I would love to be able to update an existing variable directly on the artboard similar to how pushing changes to a main component works. Often times I have a lot of artboards set with a big load of variables for all text in different languages. In these cases I might want to update a specific variable but it’s kind of a hassle to find it in the variables window. Just let me input a new value and push the change to the master variable or at least give me a shortcut to open the variables window with the selected variable in focus.

When looking at a component with nested components within, please can we look at showing the default of these nested components as closed in the component props panel on the right. The components start to look complex and overwhelming when left open as default.

While prototyping in Figma, all connectors (nodes/links) are the same color, making it difficult to visually distinguish which frames are connected to each other. To improve clarity, consider adding an option for color-coded connectors or user-defined colors. This would allow users to assign different colors based on interaction types, flows, or personal preferences, making complex prototypes easier to understand and manage.

I happily created a variables collection for my existing dark mode and light mode color style palettes that I had in my Design System. The thing is, my app is primarily designed in dark mode, but I created the light mode variables first and now I’m stuck with having light mode as the default which is very frustrating. My only option seem to be do just delete and redo the ‘light mode mode’ which I’m not that keen on doing. I wish it was possible to just change the order of my color variable mode columns horizontally using drag and drop, just like how you change order of variant properties vertically.

This screenshot shows a split-screen view. I often work with different Figma files in split-screen mode, and it gets frustrating when I open the Variables panel to edit something, only to find that the “Close” or “Cancel” button in the top-right corner is not visible. The panel doesn’t resize to fit within the split-screen or other adjusted window ratios, making it cumbersome to close or navigate without manually resizing the window each time working with variables panel.

Hi Figma Team, I’d love to request support for Native MacOS Notifications in the Figma desktop app. Currently, notifications only appear within the app itself, while the mobile app does a great job of utilizing native OS notifications. This creates a bit of a disconnect between platforms and can make it unclear where users should expect important updates. Supporting MacOS’s native notification system would bring the desktop experience inline with the Figma mobile app and allow users to receive alerts even when Figma isn’t the active window. More importantly, MacOS provides robust notification preferences, giving users full control over how those alerts are displayed—whether silently, persistently, or not at all—based on their individual workflows and needs. Native support would significantly improve visibility and responsiveness to things like design comments, file updates, or collaboration pings. Like with Google Slides, the canned animations that one can apply in Figma are not particularly useful in making more complex or impressive animations. Powerpoint is the gold standard there, allowing for path animations and timing based on a real (ish) timeline.Since it seems to allow some animation in the non-slides interface already via Lottie, (and would be nice if one could use embedded animation-commands inside the SVGs like with JS or SMIL) It seems as if this might be able to be ported to slides. Then, I could make complex lottie animations via BodyMovin in AE, animations in Rive, or directly in Figma and be able to ditch GSlides and Powerpoint both.
