Text input doesn't work in FigJam

  1. Describe the bug/issue you’re running into?

Text input doesn’t seem to work. No text shows up as I type.

  1. Are you able to consistently reproduce it? If so what are the steps?

Create or edit any sort of text node.

  1. Share a screenshot, recording, console log, link to the file, etc.



Sometimes see this “Missing font replaced”:

  1. Is the issue only happening in desktop app or a specific browser , or both?

Not sure, I only use the browser version

  1. What OS/version and/or browser/version are you using?

Chrome 89 & macOS Big Sur 11.2.3

    We just shipped a change we think should solve this issue. If you leave Inter enabled in your Font Book, refresh your tab, and try creating text, does it now work?

      Same I can’t type at all it switches to the shortcuts when I try but on Figma

      I am currently unable to type in Chrome and Mac desktop version. Started with shortcuts not working last week and now unable to enter text today. Any very quick solutions?

      Update: finally got it working via - Help > Troubleshooting > Clear cache and restart.

        Hi Figma Team,
        I’m using FigJam on a Windows 11 pc. I cannot make any text inputs at all. I have tried installing the Inter font. But it didn’t solve the issue. Any thoughts on what I can do about it?

        I think I maybe had the same issue. Closed all tutorials/quicktips appearing when opening, and then I could write 😃
