    Hello Figma Support Team,

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Figma Make.

Whenever I try to generate or modify a design using Figma Make, the request fails and displays the following error:

    Something went wrong. Try again.
    ID: srid_C980A64EQZB3JEGCPQ7VK98

The error is preventing me from using Figma Make normally.

    Issue details:

    • Product: Figma Make
    • Feature: AI generation / Make
    • Error: “Something went wrong. Try again.”
    • Request ID: srid_C980A64EQZB3JEGCPQ7VK98
    • Browser: Google Chrome
    • Operating System: Windows
    • Impact: Unable to successfully generate or modify the design through Figma Make.

I have already tried retrying the request, but the error continues to occur.

Could you please investigate this request ID and let me know what is causing the failure? If this is related to my project, session, account, or Figma Make backend, please advise on the appropriate fix.

I can provide the screenshot and any additional debug information required.

    Thank you.

    Screenshot attached for reference.

    Hi,

I’m having an issue with Figma Make. Whenever I try to generate or update my project, I receive the following error:

    Something went wrong. Try again.
    ID: srid_THPHDYJ8BQ1RQKW544...

Clicking “Try again” doesn’t resolve the issue, and the error keeps appearing.

I’ve tried retrying the request multiple times, but I’m still unable to continue working on the project.

Could you please help me understand what is causing this error and how I can resolve it?

I can provide the full error ID, screenshots, or any additional information needed for troubleshooting.

    Thank you!

Hi Figma community, today I have been trying to send Figma Make prompts but I keep consistently getting the error in the attach screenshot. I’ve tried restarting Figma, my laptop etc. Nothing seems to be working. How may I resolve this issue? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, @LebonAlex. I merged your post into this thread so we can keep all of these kinds of related issues in one place.

Since you’ve already done some basic troubleshooting yourself, I’ve created a ticket for you and included the information you posted here. Can you reply to that with a link to the Make file shared with support-share@figma.com (with Edit access - this won’t affect your billing), and the full error ID? Thanks!
