Hello Everyone!

I am having a strange issue, so my day to day task involves screen recording Figma Prototypes using Loom Desktop App, but the issue is the screen recorded final output video doesn’t retain the gray shades of the UI in the prototype, so everything looks bright white, no gray shades etc.

It records things outside figma just fine, only figma UIs are this way.

If anyone can help me to understand what the issue is and how to solve. thanks

Hello @tools.arsalan
I have a similar issue and don't know how to fix it! I changed all the settings on Loom and Windows, but there were no results...

Yes, the painful part is that I thought my gaming laptop GPU is cooked and went in panic and sold that on loss and bought a brand new laptop with latest GPU card and turned out issue is still there. and I have no idea if issue is Figma, Loom or Windows itself!

I also have Figma related issue which I am sure is issue on Figma end and still there is no solution provided to that one also.

Hey everyone, Celine from Figma here. Sorry to hear you’re running into issues with your prototype when using Loom. I agree this needs a deeper look so we can understand what’s causing it.

@tools.arsalan  , I can see in the backend that you’ve already reached out to Support about the black divider issue mentioned in the other thread, thanks for doing that! I’ve also replied there with a few steps that may help in the meantime. Feel free to create another ticket for the issue from this thread if you would like our team to take a closer look at it.

@Khilko.Stas09, thanks for contacting Figma Support as well. Could you please DM me the email address you used to submit your request? I’m happy to add a follow-up note to your case so the team has full context.

Thanks everyone for your patience while we investigate!
