Hi @Celine_ @djv , I am facing a similar issue to many others in this forum. I submitted a support request, my ticket number is #1914236. Is there any chance you could help me out? I’d love to attend Config this year! Thanks!

Esteban Nicola

Hi @djv @Celine_  I know tickets are currently sold out, but I wanted to kindly ask for any possible help regarding my support ticket (#1914247).

This would have been my first Config, and I already booked my flights from Italy to San Francisco specifically for the event. Today, my company finally approved the budget to purchase the ticket, but unfortunately I saw that tickets are now sold out.

It would truly mean a lot to me if there is any chance of getting a ticket in case any availability opens up.

Thank you so much for your time and help 🙏

Hi @Thea Pajunen, @Debora Deleao, @benvibas, @Esteban Nicola, and @Maiprofile, thanks for chiming in here!

I just wanted to acknowledge that Celine and I have ensured that all of your tickets have been escalated and flagged to the Config events team directly. The team will reply as soon as they’re available. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

Thea Pajunen

Hi @djv - thank you so much for this follow-up and update! Your and your team’s attentiveness has already made my stress levels drop significantly. Most conferences (unfortunately) don’t offer this kind of customer service or support, so just knowing you all are so on top of things is greatly appreciated!

Oh, I love that quote, @Thea Pajunen, Speaks to the passionate creative people we are!

I’m also going to submit through the website. Flights, hotel, and laid out considerable personal cash so I could be there for pride. (No small amount, SF + Pride week is premium!).

It gave me such a sense of value that my company was willing to invest in me by sending me to Config and so many plans to “bring back” to the team what I learn in concrete ways! We’re exploring a variety of tools, but the collaborative nature of Figma, and its investment in AI tools to support our creative process has been so transformative, and only more to come!

Lesson learned on booking other commitments before the company finished its approval process…! ;)

I really appreciate your response. @djv @Celine_

To be honest, this has been a bit heartbreaking for me because this was going to be my first Config. I already have my flights and hotel booked, and the only thing left was waiting for my company’s ticket purchase approval, which unfortunately only came through yesterday right when I discovered that tickets were sold out.

I truly hope everyone in this situation is able to get a ticket.

Thank you so much again for the support!

Lawrence_Aubree_CTL

I put in a request, 1920166, @djv Thank you SO much for your guidance! In case it helps, is my note (it ran a little long… back to Thea’s quote about obsession!

I’ll be honest, I was shocked when my company gave me and my colleague (name withheld here) the approval to go to Config 2026—I’m flying in from Boston! Unheard of.

But I understand why. We are our company’s chief evangelists for all things Figma, and our job at Config is to bring back concrete ideas we can implement inside our own organization.

Like everyone else, we’re actively trying to figure out what AI-assisted product development workflows are going to look like going forward across our teams. Not just for design, but how do we further embed Figma cross-functionally with designers/product teams/and dev tools (which are amazing now) powering our processes. We need Figma more than ever!!!

It feels a bit like a once in a decade opportunity for my team, so I am grateful to have the space to plead our case, and really really really hope my colleague and I can get in.

Best of luck through these next VERY BUSY weeks, and thank you for considering my request!!

Hi,

A friend who is speaking at Config shared a promo code for Config with me, and their company indicated it should be valid through May 22. However, when I try to complete registration, I tickets appear to be sold out publicly, so I'm unable to redeem my code,

Is there a way to complete registration using a promo code even when general tickets are no longer available? Any help would be appreciated!

I submitted a support ticket but have not heard back. ID is #1915944

Thank you!

@djv

Hi Figma team / @djv

I’m a colleague of the OP (April Mirvis),  I’m trying to transfer my ticket to her but the chat support is saying that transfers are not possible anymore even though it clearly states that they are on the Config FAQ. Would love an assist on this.

Thanks

Hi everyone, Celine here again 🙂

Thank you all so much for your kind words and patience throughout this. It means a lot to both @djv and myself. We completely understand how stressful and important these situations are, especially with travel, approvals, promo codes, and ticket transfers involved around Config!

@Lawrence_Aubree_CTL , @Erin_Mohr :  I was able to see your support ticket and have escalated it internally for additional visibility with the Events team. They will reply soon, thanks for your patience!

@Zo Barazzuol : I can also confirm that the Events team has already replied to your colleague April Mirvis directly and shared the next steps there. Please ask her to check her inbox when she has a moment.

Thanks again everyone for your patience while the Events team works through the requests! 🙏🏻

Hello @Celine_ and friends,

I’m also in a bit of a pickle. My budget just got approved to buy a ticket but I’m a little late it seems. I already have travel and accommodations booked and I was really looking forward to attending in person. My support ticket is 1921760.

Thank you in advance for the help!

Hello @Celine_,

I too am in the same situation as many here are. I am apart of a team of 4. We had booked flights and hotels in the days leading up to Config. We just found out the tickets were sold out and are devastated. I too have opened a case, #1921985. I was hoping there is a way to purchase 4 tickets, or even 3. I wouldn’t mind being unable to go as long as my team went.

Thank you so much.

Frank Balluff

I am sadly in the same boat as everyone else 😭 (flights, airbnb, and lots of excitement) @Gayani_S @djv @Celine_  Could you please help 🙏 My ticket # is 1922297

Hello @Celine_

Thank you for your efforts on my ticket 1920166. Unfortunately I received an email that says “At this time we are sold out for Config, and we will not be releasing any additional tickets prior to the event.”

I do sincerely appreciate your effort. Knowing that you escalated my ticket makes me feel like the Figma/Config team really did try their best with finite resources. Thank you, I wish you all the best with the event!

-Aubree Lawrence

Did anyone else get the same message from support? (Maybe, Maybe? it was an error?? I can hope...) Thank you.

Hi @djv  and @Celine_  — I'm hoping you can help me with a similar situation. Today is literally my first day at a new role, and I just received company approval to attend Config 2026 as part of onboarding into a design leadership position. By the time I had the green light to purchase, in-person tickets were already sold out.

The timing was entirely outside my control — I couldn't have purchased earlier, and the approval came through only today.

Is there any way you could help escalate my request to the Config team? I would be incredibly grateful. 🙏

Hi there @djv  and @Celine_ , I am in a very similar situation. My whole design team is attending Config, and as a new addition to the team, I just received approval to attend. I am so gutted that the tickets have sold out, as my flights and accommodations in SF have already been sorted.

I’d be sooo appreciative if you could help escalate my case to the config team.

Case #: 1928354.

Thank you!!!

Hi There,

I am in a similar boat to many here. I had thought I bought 4 tickets for the event but realized I only purchased 2. I tried to buy 2 more today but realized the in-person tickets have sold out. I promised my team they would be attending and we planned a whole week around it, gulp. Is there any way to be alerted if additional tickets become available? I feel terrible!

Hey @Mike Green! Unfortunately, Config 2026 in-person tickets are fully sold out, and we won't be releasing additional tickets before the event.

The good news is you can still be part of Config virtually, and it's always free. You'll get access to all the keynotes and breakouts in real time, you can just over at config.figma.com.

If you have any other questions about registration or what's included in the virtual experience, the Config FAQ has a great breakdown under the Registration section.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

Thanks for the reply @Gayani_S! Appreciate it.

Curious, if someone refunds their tickets or decides not to go, is there a way to secure those spots?

Hi @Mike Green, thanks for following up!

That’s a great question, and I understand your interest in getting in-person tickets to fill the gap for your team. The deadline to cancel a ticket for a full refund was May 22, 2026, at 11:59 PM PDT. We will not be releasing any additional tickets prior to the event, and we do not have a waitlist at this time to secure newly opened spots.
