Purchasing a Config 2026 ticket after it sells out

Hi, I just got the budget approved to buy my ticket for Config 2026 (my boss was able to get his 2 days ago). I just tried to purchase one, but now it is sold out. I am wondering if more tickets will be released after people cancel, or what I can do to get a ticket, as my boss and I are supposed to travel together. Please let me know what possible ways there are to get a ticket as soon as possible. Thank you!

At the moment, in-person tickets for Config 2026 are officially sold out. Ticket transfers are allowed between people within the same organization. If someone from your company is no longer able to attend and would like to transfer their ticket, our support team can help process that here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Just a heads up, all ticket transfers must be completed by May 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

In the meantime, virtual registration is still open and free if you'd like to join remotely: https://config.figma.com/san-francisco/register/. You can also find additional details in the Config FAQ under Registration: https://config.figma.com/san-francisco/faq/

Hi figma support. We'll be traveling from Argentina and we already bought hotel and plane tickets to be in San Francisco during Config's dates as this was part of our organization approval process. It was approved today morning and we realized the tickets are sold out, we're so sad since this was something we started planning two months ago and our organization time for approving these requests is long. We'll be tremendously grateful if you could help us since traveling from our country is a big deal for us and effort. 🙏 Thank you!

Hi! Will there be a waitlist of any kind for in person tickets, as some people make last minute cancellations to their tickets? My organization has a few members who already arranged travel to San Francisco and would love a chance to attend in person!

Hi! I was wondering if there will be a waitlist or official ticket transfer option for Config 2026 in case attendees can no longer make it.

I recently joined a new company and was invited to attend alongside my design team. Some of us are already coordinating travel to San Francisco, and I’d really appreciate the opportunity to attend in person if any tickets become available.

Hello Figma Config Team,

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to reach out to see if there is any possibility of being considered for an in-person ticket to Config this year in SF if any spots become available. I would be traveling from Michigan. 

I had been working on getting approval to attend, and approval process took a little longer. I was planning to register as soon as I received final approval, but by the time I went to purchase my ticket, in-person registration had just closed.

I was genuinely very excited to attend Config in person this year. I have already planned the trip and booked my flights and hotel in anticipation of attending the conference. As a UX designer, Config is an event I have been looking forward to for a long time because of the opportunity to learn from the community, grow professionally, and bring new ideas back to my team.

I completely understand that tickets are limited, but I wanted to respectfully ask whether there might be any cancellations, waitlist opportunities, or additional availability that could allow me to attend in person.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I truly appreciate it and would be incredibly grateful for any opportunity to attend.

At this time, we are sold out for Config, and we will not be releasing any additional tickets prior to the event.

We welcome you to register to attend virtually (always free!) to take in all the keynotes and breakouts in real time. You can register for the virtual experience on config.figma.com.

Yes, I already registered for the virtual experience, but I’d be lying if I said it won’t be a little heartbreaking to already have flights + hotel booked for SF and end up following everything from the hotel room instead of being there in person 😭

We’ll keep hoping maybe two spots open up somehow before May 22 🤞

I’m facing the same situation as Paloma, I’m attending all the way from Mexico as part of Amazon but tickets sold out before I could complete my purchase. My flight and hotel are already booked and It would be amazing if you could help me out with escalating the issue.

I received a promo code for Config from a friend who is speaking at the conference. Their company shared that these promo codes should remain valid through May 22, but I’m currently unable to complete registration because tickets appear to be sold out publicly.

I wanted to check whether there is still a way to register for an in-person ticket using the promo code I was provided.

My team here on the forum isn’t able to assist with Config, but if you have a ticket number to provide, I can help escalate your case to get the team to take a look on priority.

Hi ​@djv — I’m running into the same issue. I was provided a code through my organization, but I’m unable to purchase a ticket because the event is showing as sold out. Would you be able to help escalate this to the support team?

 

I’ve already submitted a support ticket (#1911347) and reached out to my account rep, but I haven’t heard back from either yet. I’ve already arranged my travel, accommodations, and schedule around attending, so I’d really appreciate any help you can provide. 🙏🏻

I’m coming all the way from Vancouver, Canada, and have already gone through the company approvals and visa checks. Unfortunately, the event is now sold out, which is incredibly frustrating after all the preparation involved.

I’d really appreciate any support in securing 1 in-person ticket. It would mean a lot if there’s any way you could help.

Hi ​@djv  , I'm in the same situation as ​@Bhavyata Shah  — a colleague who's speaking at Config gave me a promo code that's supposed to be valid for 24 hours, but in-person tickets sold out before I could redeem it. I've already booked flights and accommodation.

Hi Figma team, 
I am in the same bind as many of the commenters here. I have already booked flights and hotel rooms for my team (me and two others), but I missed the boat on getting our tickets. I am gutted and feel like such a fool to have let this happen, especially since the flights and hotels are nonrefundable. I submitted a request through Figma (case #1914054) and sharing this here for additional visibility, as I am a bit of a nervous wreck over what will happen if I cannot secure these tickets.
