Question

Plugin pending review for 17+ days – is this normal?

Hi! :)

I submitted my Figma plugin Tokenry about 17 days ago, and it’s still in review. Just wanted to check if this is expected, or if there might be something wrong on my end.

Plugin link:

https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1612136415712068154/tokenry

It’s a design token generator that helps create variables, semantic tokens, and dev-ready structures in Figma.

I haven’t received any feedback or requests for changes so far, so I’m a bit unsure if:

  • it’s just a long queue

  • or if something might be blocking the review

Has anyone experienced similar wait times recently?

And is there anything I should do (or check) while waiting?

Really appreciate any insight 🙏

@Gayani_S I work with Michael Judd. While we’re waiting, what steps can we take to minimize back and forth and ensure our place in the queue isn’t reset if we have to make a change? We have clients expecting this integration soon and the review time may cost us some business.

Hey @Abid Ladhani, I understand the urgency, with clients depending on this integration being available.

There’s nothing you need to do on your end. The team will reach out as soon as the review is completed, whether that’s an approval or any feedback.

I’ve checked on this, and it looks like your resource has now been finally approved! cc @Michael Judd

8 days ago, I received a email stating that my plugin follows data security best practices.
But since then, there has been no update. The plugin is still not published. It has been 28 days since it was submitted for review.

Hi @da.assets, thanks for reaching out and for sharing the details of the timeline.

I can see how that gap in updates might feel a little unclear, especially after some time since your submission.

After the security review, there’s typically a final functionality check as part of the overall process.

I’ve checked on this and can confirm that your submission for Offline Figma Converter for Unity is still in the review queue. I’ve also added a quick nudge internally to help increase visibility.

We’ve been seeing a higher volume of submissions, which can impact review timelines. While I don’t have a specific ETA to share, your submission is in line and hasn’t been missed.

There’s nothing you need to do on your end for now - the team will follow up via email once there’s an update, whether that’s approval or feedback.

Thanks again for your patience, really appreciate it 🙏
