LAUNCHED: Figma Slides - Styles (Grid, Text)

Frederic_Fornini

Am i missing something here or i just can’t create a custom grid size ?

Or would it be related to the fact that we can’t create custom presentations with pro plans ?

It’s strange since we can have custom colors (the same way Figma design does).
Also, you can use different text styles but can’t create your own.

You can access Design mode by clicking on the Pen icon on bottom menu (looks like a slider). Then you’ll find “Layout Grid” on the right panel. If you chose a slide from a template, grids already will be there. You can customize them by detaching.

Also there will be all grids from your libraries, so you can reuse them. Colors and fonts can be reused too.

@Kate38 Thank you, that solves my text styles issue.

Now regarding grid styles it seems a bit counter intuitive to only be able to import grids from other projects and not create one on the fly and save it like it’s possible to do in Figma design.

You mean you want to save your custom grids in styles? I don’t see that option either. Maybe Figma will add our beloved “Create style” button in future updates
