Question

Is anyone else getting Sites pages cut off arbitrarily at the bottom when publishing?

I’m sure that the page is extended to include the entire design content of my pages, but when I publish, some of them are fully viewable and others I can’t scroll to the bottom of them! Sometimes it’s just a little bit, and other times it’s a good 200px worth of content. 

I’ve tried different browsers and it’s consistent across them.

    Other solution on my side, had to switch from Custom size to Presentation in Prototype settings.

      I’m also having the same issue.  It seems to happen randomly to some pages and not others, even though I can’t see any differences in how they’re set up.

          Hey everyone, I has the same issue and I tried every possible combination to fix it, but no luck. Sometimes it fixes the issue for specific breakpoint, but not for all of them. And sometimes it's broken everywhere. The bottom of the content is cropped. It's okay on the main page, but broken on subpages- Is there any solution yet? ​@Tom Reem?           Has anyone had any further luck? I’ve been bearing with this for months. The Figma team have been in touch directly and been into my site to ‘fix’ it, but the issue remains and it’s frustrating, as scrolling to the bottom of a page is a pretty basic expectation. I don’t have the issue when I view it on mobile, only when it’s on a wide browser format on desktop.

           

          My current working hack, is to vertically extend the canvas and all auto layout containers - the height of my canvas is massive (attached ref), that does enable you to scroll to bottom of page, but it means when you’re on a narrow browser width, you have an enormous amount of white space at the bottom of the page.

            ​@Tom Reem I am also having this issue with my published site. Only certain pages are affected and in only on in the Desktop view. How can I get additional support for this issue? Has a solution been provided? I’ve tried the suggestions above but no resolve.

            I still haven’t resolved properly, but my page/canvas extension is working fine, not ideal but it works.

            I figured it out…

            I also had this problem and tried a bunch of different things.

            The Desktop/Tablet/Mobile/etc. frames are just like normal artboards without auto layout. All you need to do is toggle your frame to autolayout by clicking the button or pressing the shift+a.

            The UX issue is that unlike in a normal figma project, the “Desktop” frame doesn’t get any auto layout icon to indicate it. Once you do this you can set the frame to hug.

            I can’t believe after 7 months and I had this problem it took me 30 minutes to figure it out. I hope you the Figma team can resolve this UX problem. Pretty frustrating issue (Since people’s websites don’t end up scrolling properly)
