I use 3 Figma accounts, and while I’m working in one of these accounts I can see files from 2 other accounts in the Recents tab. It’s very unsafe behavior.
I’m sure that in every particular account I must see only those files, I have access to as a viewer/editor.
Hello @Oleg_Stepanov, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Recents tab! I completely understand your concern.
However, I tested on my end and I was unable to replicate the issue with my own accounts. The Recents page displays files recently viewed by the selected account and files and projects people have recently shared with the selected account.
Is this happening in the browser, desktop app or both? To cover some basics, can you please try clearing out both your desktop apps and browsers cache and check if there are any improvements?
Desktop apps:
- Mac: In the Help menu under Troubleshooting.
- Windows: Under the toggle arrow at the right of the top toolbar under Help > Troubleshooting.
If above doesn’t work for the issue with the Recents page in your file browser showing files that the currently selected account can’t access, please contact our support team directly through this link: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Kindly ensure that you use your Figma account email, attach a screenshot showing the issue you are experiencing, and provide a direct link to the file affected by the issue.
This will help our support team investigate the issue more effectively.
If the above does not apply to your situation, I came across a feature request that you may find interesting here: Create “Files Shared with Me” view Feel free to check it out!
Please let me know if I have overlooked any additional points.
Thanks,
