Question

Figma Supabase Authentication Issue

FEx

I’ve tried to create a webapp with Make to feature user authentication, progress tracking, and email delivery of PDF packages. This requires Supabase for user management, data storage, and API integration with Resend for email delivery.

Now, whenever I get the Connect to Supabase window with the Setup your account prompt and the Connect button. I click Connect, get redirected to status=succedded page with Successfully authenticated response, but when I get back to Figma Make, the window still just shows Connect, not the other options after connecting.

Is there anyway to clear and start over with the supabase integration? or am I missing something very obvious?

thank you for any help!

Hey everyone - apologies for the errors. I just checked in with the Figma Make team, and can you all provide me some information?

  • Open the dev console in the tab that has Make, and navigate to the "Network" tab
  • Do a screen recording that starts from, Make but also show's the Supabase screens you see.

If you’d prefer to not share that recording here in this topic directly, shoot me a PM.

Navigating to this page on Crome browser after clicking “connect supabase” in Figma application.

@NagaPraveen_Ramisetti - can you try the steps outlined on this page here and see if things start working as expected afterwards?

NagaPraveen_Ramisetti

hey @ksn, I followed the same steps. after clicking on “connect” to supabase im navigating to a new page which i already shared. again im sharing here.

steps i followed ( mentioned in the document which you shared )

Add a backend in the file settings

To add a backend in the settings of your Figma Make file:

  1. In the upper-right corner of your Figma Make file, click  Make settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, under Integrations, click Supabase.
  3. Click Connect Supabase. This step is only required the first time you’re setting up the Supabase integration.

In a new browser tab, you’re directed to the Supabase website.

When you’re prompted to log in to Supabase, use your existing account or create a free account.

If your Supabase account isn’t already associated with an organization, Supabase also prompts you to create an organization.

But im not navigating to the supabase website, it is taking to the page attached below.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay, but I’ve got good news: I received confirmation on my end that this was fixed yesterday. Can everyone check and see if things are running smoothly?

Would recommend refreshing your web tab and/or restarting the app first, just to make sure the changes have applied properly.

NagaPraveen_Ramisetti

hey @ksn , no Change. navigating to the same authentication “Figma Supabase Oauth”  screen after clicking on “connect to supabase” button in figma make.

@NagaPraveen_Ramisetti Hi, I had the same issue today. What worked for me was clearing my Safari History (Menu bar → History → Clear History). I think the problem happened because I have two Figma accounts, and some value was stored somewhere… After cleaning, it worked! Hopefully this helps you too :)

Yes, you can clear the Supabase connection in Make by going to Connections, deleting the existing Supabase entry, and starting fresh. Make sure your Supabase redirect or callback URL is correctly set in your Supabase project settings, then try reconnecting. If it still loops, regenerate your Supabase keys and reconnect, or test in a private browser session. If none of that works, it is likely an issue on Make’s side, so raising a support ticket is the next step.
