Hello. There is a loading icon that is appearing and won’t go away/I am unable to view the result. I’ve tried all the steps but nothing has seemed to work.

Steps i’ve tried:

  • Duplicating the file
  • Refresh
  • Opening in a browser window (instead of the app)
  • Restarted the app and laptop too
  • Also, my websockets also work.
  • Tried opening through my personal laptop (Windows) and still got the same issue. (I use Mac for work purposes but get the same issue)
  • I checked all queries regarding this and tried all methods. Nothing is working.
  • Prompting that I’m only seeing a loading window and providing it with a screenshot

I’ve also confirmed that no errors are showing.

Hello Figma Support Team,

I’m facing an issue with Figma Make where the live preview is not loading after the prompt is processed.

I have been trying to use this feature for the past 36 hours. While the prompt/command completes successfully, the live preview never appears and continues to remain stuck on loading.

I’ve already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including:

  • Switching between different internet connections
  • Using different devices
  • Retrying with multiple prompts

Despite this, the issue still persists.

This is affecting my workflow significantly. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

Please look into this issue and let me know if there’s any fix or workaround available.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Kshitiz Kamal

Hi @Sushrut Baporikar @Kshitiz — Celyn from Figma Community Support here.

Thanks for reaching out and for clearly outlining everything you’ve tried so far, that’s really helpful.

@Kshitiz — If you haven’t already, could you please try these quick troubleshooting steps:

  • Click Refresh preview at the top of the preview
  • If that doesn’t help, refresh the page and try prompting again
  • If it’s still stuck, duplicate the Figma Make file and try prompting in the copy

You can also refer to this guide for more details: Troubleshoot in Figma Make

In the meantime, I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you both so the team can investigate further:

@Sushrut Baporikar - Your case number is #1833709.

@Kshitiz - Your case number is #1833776.

So we can take a closer look at the specific file you’re working in, could you please:

  • Reply to the ticket with a link to the file where this is happening
  • Share the file with support-share@figma.com and grant “Can View” access (this won’t impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue)

In the meantime, if helpful, you can also include any of the following in your reply to the ticket:

  • Whether this happens across different Figma Make files, or only in this specific file
  • Whether it occurs across all prompts, or just a specific one
  • Whether it happens across different browsers and networks, e.g., mobile hotspot?
  • If disabling any VPN or network-level filters changes the behavior

If you discover anything new, please reply directly to the ticket email so we can keep all the information in one place.

Appreciate your patience here — someone from the team will be in touch with next steps soon.

Sushrut Baporikar

Hi @Celyn_L. Thank you for your reply. I will give the view access to the respective file (I’ll give access to the file in which it is happening from first prompt itself). I just found out a way to see my designs but it is very cumbersome. So, basically, I make an error the to existing code deliberately which prompts the Figma Make to make version 2. Once version 2 is created and is loading, I clicked on ‘view preview’ for the version which I want to view. So, I did found a way but it is greatly increasing my work time. (Just told you this FYI as I’m not stuck in figuring it out).

For the questions, you have asked
- This is happening to all my Figma Make files across different browsers and the app and also on different devices. (As mentioned, I use Mac for work and Windows for personal use)
- It is happening across all prompts
- It is happening across different browsers and networks
- I do not use any VPN and I also tried using different networks at my house. (Main WIFI, WIFI extendor etc.)

Sushrut Baporikar

@Celyn_L Hi! I have sent an invite to the respective mail ID. Also sent an invite the other file in which i figured out a way to view the designs! So, you’ll get 2 different invites for 2 different files. One with only one version and one with multiple versions.

Hi @Sushrut Baporikar — thanks for following up and for inviting support-share@figma.com with “Can View” access to your impacted files.

I saw that a specialist has already reached out to you on your support ticket. When you have a moment, could you take a look and reply with the links to the impacted files so the team can continue investigating?

Appreciate your help with this — the team will take it from there once they have the links.

https://www.figma.com/make/HNpTs76sg9uQjowEpgGmmE/Create-Image-View-Explorations?t=wnW69ZGxOaJycxNz-1 - This is link having multiple versions and prompts as I had to do some changes to code in order to figure out a way to tackle the problem.

Hope this @Celyn_L!

@AskDave My issue is still not resolved, all of the figma make files are stucked on the preview. If I keep trying then I may get it see runing after every 15 hours, then again stuck on the loading screen

None of the Figma Make file has any preview, and none of them works

Sushrut Baporikar

I got an update at 9:03 AM IST. I missed the mail. I’ll check the solution and see if it works.

Thanks

Hi @Kshitiz — thanks for sharing the additional context and the screenshot.

I can see that a specialist has already reached out to you on your ticket (#1833776).

When you have a moment, could you follow up on the ticket with:

  • Inviting support-share@figma.com to your impacted file with “Can view” permissions and sharing the link there (this won’t affect your billing), and
  • Including a full-window screen recording of the steps leading to the issue

This will help the team with the investigation and move things along more quickly.

Please continue the conversation directly on the ticket so the team can assist you further. Thanks!

I am unable to use the Figma Make (AI) feature. The screen stays on a loading spinner and the browser console is flooded with net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT errors for events.statsigapi.net.

Steps already taken:

  • Verified it happens in both Chrome and the Desktop App.

  • Disabled all ad-blockers/extensions.

  • Cleared site data and cache.

  • Flushed DNS and tried different networks.

  • Duplicated the file (still fails).

The error persists at (index):1, suggesting an initialization failure.

@Celyn_L, I’m experiencing the same infinite loading issue with Figma Make. While it was working perfectly yesterday for my personal projects, the designs are no longer appearing today. Interestingly, the tool seems to work fine for brand-new files, but my existing project is completely stuck.

I have already granted 'Can edit' permissions to support-share@figma.com so you can investigate the file directly.

Technical details from my browser console:

  • Primary Symptom: The 'Make' interface fails to initialize, showing a persistent loading spinner (see attached screenshot).

  • Console Errors: Consistent net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT errors for events.statsigapi.net.

  • Initialization Failure: I'm seeing a 403 (Forbidden) error on the npm_private_registry/scopes endpoint and a hang at (index):1.

Environment & Troubleshooting:

  • Network: The issue persists across different networks (Primary Wi-Fi and Mobile Hotspot).

  • Extensions: I’ve tested with all ad-blockers and privacy extensions disabled.

  • Platform: Occurs on both Chrome and the Figma Desktop App.

  • Steps Taken: I have already tried duplicating the file and clearing site data/cache with no success.

It appears the 'Make' feature is unable to verify my account permissions because the Statsig connection is failing or being interrupted. Could you please check if this is a known regional issue or a specific feature-flag conflict for existing files?

Hi @NabilK — thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a detailed report, along with the screenshot and console logs (and also granting access to the file 🙏). This kind of context is incredibly helpful for the team.

Just a heads up that I’ve merged your post into this thread so everything is kept together in one place.

I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you and shared all the details from your post with the team so this can be properly investigated — your case number is #1839756.

When you have a moment, could you please:

  • Share the link to the impacted file directly on the ticket, and
  • Include a full-window screen recording of the steps leading to the issue, if possible

That will help the team reproduce what you’re seeing and get to the root of it faster.

Please continue the conversation directly in the ticket, and keep an eye on your inbox — the team will follow up with you there as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience and for working through this with us 🙏

Hi @Agrawalyash1041 thanks for flagging this.

As mentioned in my response above, if you haven’t had a chance yet, here are a few things that might help unblock things quickly:

  • Try clicking “Refresh preview” at the top
  • If that doesn’t work, refresh the page and run your prompt again
  • You could also duplicate the Make file and try it in the copy instead

This guide also walks through a few common fixes if helpful: Troubleshoot in Figma Make

In the meantime, I’ve created a support ticket for you (#1848041) so the team can dig into this further.

To help us investigate your specific case, could you:

  • Reply to the ticket with a link to the file where this is happening
  • Share the file with support-share@figma.com and grant “Can View” access (this won’t impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue)

Really appreciate your patience here — the team will reach out directly once they’ve reviewed this.

Hi @Celyn_L  and @AskDave  :: adding my voice to this thread as I am experiencing the exact same "infinite loading" issue with Figma Make.

Here are my details for the team:

Figma Version: 126.3.12

Account Type: Corporate

Duration: Consistently stuck on loading for at least the last 3 days.

Scope of Issue: This is happening across both existing files and brand-new files. It is failing on both simple and highly complex prompts.

For context, I have read through this entire thread and attempted all of the standard troubleshooting steps (refreshing, duplicating, trying different networks, etc.), but nothing has resolved the issue.

I see that Support has been requesting users to share their files with support-share@figma.com and provide screen recordings. Unfortunately, due to my corporate security policies, I am strictly prohibited from sharing direct file links, granting external access, or providing screenshots/recordings to help debug.

This bug has essentially brought my workflow to a halt and is causing a significant loss in productivity. I strongly request that a fix for this gets prioritized ASAP. Thank you!

Hey @Sushrut Baporikar - thanks for following up. I understand you’re now seeing this across multiple files you’re working on. Adding on to Celine’s note above, could you share those file links directly in your support ticket (#1833709) as well? That’ll help the team look into everything together.

@awinga IM - really appreciate you jumping in here and for the detailed context you’ve shared, it’s super helpful. I can see you’ve already tried the suggested steps, sorry to hear it’s still not working on your end. I understand you’re not able to share files or recordings due to your company’s security policies. I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket (#1850230) for you so the team can take a closer look and assist you directly from there.

For everyone else following along - I hear that this is impacting your workflows. I’ve flagged this with our engineering team for investigation and will update this thread as soon as I have any news. Appreciate your patience in the meantime 🙏
