How to fix the “Live preview failed” issue in Figma Make? I did the troubleshoot and immediate fixes available in the internet like: refreshing the page, duplicating the page, opening in different browsers. It is still working properly on March 13, 2026 but the problem started on March 16, 2026

Hi @韩思麒thanks for chiming in here. I understand that you're seeing the "Live preview failed" error as well.

For anyone else running into the same issue, we'd recommend trying the following steps first:

  • Revert to an earlier version of the file to see if that restores the preview.
  • Ask the AI to resolve the issue and check whether it's able to recover the file on its own.

If you're still seeing the error after trying those steps, the next best step is to submit a bug report so our team can take a closer look at your specific file.

You can do this by visiting the Support Hub, clicking Start a chat, and typing "Report a bug."

Once you've submitted the report, it would also be really helpful if you could share a link to the affected file and invite support-share@figma.com with Can View access. This won't affect your billing and will allow our Engineering team to reproduce and investigate the issue more effectively.

Thanks!

I’m also having the same issue. Prompted the AI to resolve but it didn't work, it send me this message:
"The code is working properly. If the app runs locally but fails in a shared preview, it is definitely an environment/infrastructure issue on Figma Make."

Hey @Orion Mercado, thanks for sharing the message you encountered.

Just a quick check if you have tried the steps mentioned above?

  • Revert to an earlier version of the file to check if that restores the preview
  • Prompt the AI to resolve the issue and see if it’s able to recover the file on its own

If you have and that doesn’t resolve the issue for you, I recommend submitting a bug report so our team can take a closer look at your specific file.

Please visit the Support Hub, click on Start a chat, then type “Report a bug”.

After submitting, it will be really helpful if you could share a direct link to the file and invite support-share@figma.com with “Can View” access (note that this will not impact your billing and allows us to reproduce and investigate the issue with Engineering).

Thanks.

The problem still persists. As far as I can tell, many people are experiencing it. It’s not a localized issue. Because of this, the tool isn’t working. I spent a lot of time on the prototype, and now I can’t share the results with the clien

Hey @Lika Lika, thanks for reaching out here. I know how much work goes into building a prototype, and I’m sorry this is disrupting things for you.

Just to double check, have you had a chance to try the steps outlined above?

  • Reverting to an earlier version of the file to see if that restores the preview
  • Prompting the AI to resolve the issue and checking if it can recover the file

In the meantime, I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you so the team can take a closer look at your specific file - your ticket number is #1888630.

It would be really helpful if you could reply directly to that ticket with the details above, along with a direct link to the file. Please also invite support-share@figma.com with Can View access (this won’t impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce and investigate the issue with our Engineering team).

Really appreciate your patience while we look into this.
