Hi everyone,  Celine from Figma here. Thank you for flagging this!
I’ve checked internally, and we are not aware of this issue. Can you please clarify if this happens on browser, desktop app or both?
This issue may occur when the Desktop App is being used behind a firewall, proxy, or VPN that blocks access to Figma’s servers. Here are a few steps that usually resolve it:

  • Try using Figma in the browser. You can access Figma from any supported browser. More details are in our system requirements in Figma.
  • Ask your IT department or systems administrator to unblock Port 443 and allow list \*.figma.com along with the other domains listed in our documentation here
  • Try disabling some browser extensions (especially security or ad-blocking tools) that can cause issues when accessing Figma. You can also review our guide for more troubleshooting: Connection or servor error
  • Also to configure the Github connection, please note you will need a Full or Dev seat in the Organization, but also a can edit permission on the file itself.

If the issue continues, our support team will need to investigate further. You can submit a bug report by following these steps:

  1. Open our Support Hub
  2. In the search bar, enter “report a bug”
  3. Click “Start a chat” in the bottom
  4. Press “Enter”
  5. Respond to the next question with “Yes”
  6. Submit the bug report

    Thank you!
