Critical Issue – Missing Figma Files

Hey ​@Israel Manuel,  apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I’ve followed up with the support specialist who handled your request, and they confirmed that while the file may not have restored correctly at first. 

But they can see you were able to restore it successfully now.

While working on the project, it suddenly disappeared from my files. Honestly, I don't know what could be happening.

This is the third time the project has disappeared, and this directly impacts the development process. Please check the situation and resolve it as quickly as possible.

I'm facing a problem with Figma and would like to request support. Currently, I have 3 projects that have disappeared from my files. Some of them were in the development phase, which directly impacts workflow, especially since they were due under very tight deadlines.

Here is a list of the projects covered:

1 – TAAG
 

2 – Imprensa Nacional
(The project has disappeared again)
 

3 — Evolvetech Website
(The separate Desktop version along with all screens)

I checked the files you mentioned and was able to find the following information:

• TAAG
  This file was deleted by your account on Apr 26, 2026.
  It was previously located in the team: Pro figma | UI design 2023
• Imprensa Nacional
  This file was deleted by your account on May 14, 2026 at 4:24 PM.
  It was also located in the team: Pro figma | UI design 2023
• SITE Evolvetech
  This file does not appear to be deleted.
  It is currently located in the M. M. team.

You can restore the deleted files by following the steps here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047512294-Delete-and-restore-files. 

I’m also wondering whether someone else may have access to your Figma account, since these files appear to have been deleted from your account. As mentioned earlier, Figma does not delete files on its own, so if files are repeatedly being deleted, it may be worth checking your account access and making sure no one else is signed in or using your account.

Following the steps sent, however, the files remain unavailable and no one on the team has deleted any of these projects.

These situations have been recurring and we still don't understand the reason, since some files disappear even while under development and in active use. This has directly impacted the continuity of the work and the deadlines of the activities.

I kindly request that all listed files be restored as soon as possible, as it is necessary to continue the work.

I would like to inform you that the TAAG project has disappeared again from Figma. The file still exists and you can access the link, however, when entering the project, no screen is displayed.

I have a presentation of this project scheduled for Thursday, so I would appreciate it if this situation could be checked and resolved urgently.

Looking back over this thread, here's the pattern I'm seeing:

1. TAAG, reported missing, ticket #1871808
2. Imprensa Nacional, reported missing twice, ticket #1828855
3. Evolvetech (Website), reported missing most recently, ticket #1914740

Three different files, across several months, each investigated separately. That’s why I'd recommend to please open a new support ticket and reference the three ticket numbers above in it. That gives the team investigating a complete picture of everything that's happened, rather than starting from scratch again. You can reach out to our team through out Support hub.

A couple of things that would help speed up their investigation, if you're able to include them:

• Roughly when each file disappeared (date/time, even approximate)
• Whether anyone else has access to the team or files in question
• Whether you've noticed anything unusual with your account access (e.g. being logged out unexpectedly, unfamiliar devices, etc.)

In the meantime, this Delete and restore files guide covers how recovery works in the cases where it's possible. You shouldn't have had to keep coming back to explain this. Please do open that ticket, and don't hesitate to tag me here too if you want me to keep an eye on how it progresses.
