Connect to a new supabase account

I checked in with the product team and, at this time, switching between Supabase accounts needs to be done on Supabase’s side. Here’s how you can disconnect and reconnect:

1. Go to the Supabase Dashboard → sign in if needed.
2. Click the settings gear icon ⚙️ on the left.
3. Select OAuth Apps.
4. Click the trash icon 🗑️ next to Figma.
5. Back in Figma Make, you should then be able to go through the connection flow again.

I hope this helps for now! I’m curious if you’re able to offer more context, could you share a bit more about your workflow with this — how often you may need to switch accounts and why?

We’ll also keep sharing updates in Figma Learn, so keep an eye there: Add a backend to a functional prototype or web app.

This solves my current problem but I still had a small doubt. So now lets talk in example. 

I have a two projects in Figma Make (lets call them Project A and Project B)

I have two different accounts for Supabase (due to 2 projects only limitations, I have to create new accounts). So lets call these Account 1 and Account 2

Now Project A is connected to Account 1 currently. And I wanted to connect Project B with Account 2. The solution you provided, solves my basic problem but the doubt I have is :

“If i disconnect Account 1 from Figma Make and connect Account 2 so that my Project B can run, will this cause any problems to Project A? Since Account 1 is disconnected will my Project A stop working immediately?”

​@Tom Reem, I am in a situation similar to Imtiaz 's problem.

I followed the steps you indicated, but I still cannot log out or log in to a Supabase account (my project was deactivated on Supabase due to a few days of inactivity).

I need to be able to log out of this project so I can create a new one. In fact, it has already been deleted on Supabase.

When I go to Create new project, fill in the fields, and submit, the following error appears:
 

Tom, could you give me some step-by-step instructions to resolve this? I would like to be able to log out so I can log back into my Supabase account and continue with the project. I have already tried some alternatives, such as logging out and logging back into Figma.

So to summarize : 
“Your project got deactivated by supabase due to inactivity. You required to create a new project but since the other project was deactivated you assumed you had to log back in the supabase again? So you tried doing so which did not happen and now you are stuck?”

My project was deactivated by Supabase, so Figma Make pointed out that there was a problem with Supabase. However, when I go to the Supabase tab within Figma Make to resolve the issue, the first screenshot appears, which does not allow me to disconnect or anything like that. It only allows me to create a new project. However, if I try to create a new project, only an error message appears.

Now that I've disconnected within Supabase, this path of creating a Supabase project through Figma Make should no longer exist.

First of all, you can disconnect Figma Make and Supabase from Supabase settings and not Figma. 

Go to your supabase account. Login and access the project. Go to settings on the left navbar. Find the tab titled “OAuth”. Inside it you shall find list of external apps connected to Supabase. Once you spot Figma there, hit the delete button. 

Figma and Supabase should be disconnected successfully. Unfortunately, its not possible from Figma end right now.

Then try reconnecting to your Supabase from Figma by logging in again. Once done you can either connect your existing database or create a new one. Also since your project is deactivated, I suggest you resume it from settings if you wish to continue the use the same project for your Figma Files.

That's the point. I went to my Supabase account and disconnected Figma, but Figma still recognizes that it is connected and suggests creating a new project.

Right now, I'm stuck because I can't create a project or connect a new account.
