I’m stuck on the SheerID step with the error “Verification Limit Exceeded / already redeemed or attempted” when applying for Figma Education.
• What I tried: logging in with the target Figma account, applying via figma.com/education/apply, contacting SheerID to reset attempts (awaiting response).
• Ask: once SheerID resets/approves, please ensure the verification is linked to my Figma account. If there’s a prior/partial verification under another email, please advise on re-association.

Hello!
I tried re verification for FIGMA student, but it was showing network error even though network was good, and continuously trying it was still showing the same error.
Then it started showing Verification limit exceeded.
So I contacted sheerID via mail, they responded with:
I mail them again and again still got no solution..
Please provide the solution for this issue otherwise I won't be able to re verify student plan.

Also, If you’ve already contacted SheerID and haven’t received a reply within 6 business days, we recommend reaching out to education@figma.com for further investigation.

I already opened a ticket with SheerID, but unfortunately they closed it without resetting my attempts. The form has been blocked with the “Verification Limit Exceeded” error for several days now, so I can’t even re-submit new documents. Their last response was a generic closure, and they didn’t provide any option to continue.
At this point I’m stuck — the form doesn’t load, SheerID won’t let me try again, and my Education verification is essentially blocked.

Hi, I’m also having the same issue, and I’ve reached out to SheerID several times with no success. I was wondering if I could also get some help with this as well? I really need my student status verified for a class I’m taking :(

I havent been able to verify my account.I attempted to re-verify my Figma student account, but the system is now showing “Verification limit exceeded.” and it’s auto-rejecting my Id everytime I upload.
No contact has been made from SheerId side for manual verification. I have a college bonafide that proves I am a student. I dont know what else to do since only 1 days are left. No help has been provided from SheerId’s side since the very beginning. They just conveniently keep closing the tickets permanently.
Please look into this and do the needful.
This is quite frustrating as a user.
And contacting SheerId directly is leading to absolutely nothing. I have been trying this since the last 15 days and only 1 day is left now. I don’t know what to do.
Please help with resolving this before 29 September 2025
