Support Forum Feedback/Bugs Thread

Kicking off this thread to keep track of bugs, feedback, etc. related directly to this forum.

We’re quite proud of the work we’ve put into designing and building this forum out, however, there’s always room for improvement.

So… if you happen to find a bug or want to share some feedback, feel free to add a reply here and we’ll do our best to address it!

Here’s what we’ll be working on/improving next:

  • 🐛 Fixing some trailing bugs
  • 📄 Adding documentation, improving guidelines, etc.
  • 📱 Improving the mobile/responsive experience
  • 🔤 Improving the typography and accessibility across topics
  • ✨ Adding more categories and content
  • 🌑 Working on a dark theme
  • 🥇 Working on badges and rewards for participation

      There is another thing that started roughly at that time: I can’t change the ordering of topics in search because the dropdown doesn’t show.

        Ah good find! Can verify this is happening to me too.

        Trying to set this post as a solution: Problem with pixelation while exporting layer - #7 by Fernanda_Trejo but this gives me 422 error:

        Before that, I edited this post because the user couldn’t include a link in the first post on the forum, so they inserted a link with commas instead of dots. I fixed it. Maybe that’s the reason.

          Looks like there are even more broken styles now and the “Sort by” menu still doesn’t work:

          Also I liked advanced filters on the right more.

          One more thing: it seems like the loading of the forum is really slow recently. I have good internet connection but the forum takes a very long time to load. UPD: the issue is gone, the site is loading fine for me.

          Sorry, we’ll be taking a closer look at this this week. Discourse likes to surprise sometimes with updates/changes in areas that we haven’t accounted for.

          Hi hi! We’ll be working on refining the UI a bit in the future (the whole page’s layout has changed on Discourse’s side since we initially wrote the theme), but I’ve fixed the Sort by button and the whole page should be a bit closer to our expectations in terms of usability.

          More soon!
