Hey all

I have a Figma file that’s just functioning as Local Variables holder, which then is consumed by other files.

I have 3 variable modes (Light, Dark, High Contrast) each has around 700 variables. So 700 x 3 in total.

Initial publish was OK, but any changes I do now are almost impossible to publish. The system seems like it’s stuck, as I can always press the “Publish library” button. It always states there’s 700 changes, even tho I changed 1 colour variable. And when I publish it, it processes around 100 of these changes and then stops. Then I can push “Publish” again, but it just does the same thing again.

Basically, it seems like it’s stuck publishing such a big colour library.

There are no actual components in this file, just colour variables.

What can I do? How do I bang it back into working?

Here’s the library on the consumer side, it just says Collection 1, no matter how I rename it actually.

Oh, in addition, the name of the collection is not published or picked up by the consumers. I’ve renamed it to “MODERN” just to test it, but any file that consumes it just sees it as Collection 1.
