Prototypes Lagging Very Badly

This is STILL a major issue!!! Prototyping is basically worthless for more than 2-3 screens.

Having the same issue, serious lag in between interactions. Makes for impossible user testing.

Any work arounds?

Here it is many months later and I’m still having the same issue. As this was fixed before, it appears to be a server issue. Figma, any chance you can get someone to look at this?

I have the same issue. whenever I click on the play button it shows me a black screen.

This is actually pretty embarassing. Figma has by far the worst prototype performance of any alternative. The performance is exactly as bad on a brand new m1 macbook as a 7 year old macbook pro which is absurd.

Same here, my prototypes work pretty fine until I start adding interactions. Ten instant click interactions with no animations whatsoever are enough to make my prototypes laggy and unusable.

I seriously can’t believe that such issues persist since at least 2020, and Figma doesn’t seem to even bother fixing them anytime soon.

I’ve been using Figma for 3 months and I’m already thinking about switching to another design tool.

Hi, yesterday my figma application was working fine , but today a particular project alone lags and working too low . A guy asked me to work his project and sent me a link so i was doing it . I just wanna know whether my figma is lagging because of his link ?
