Prototype is unclickable once overlay is on

Hello Community!
Im new in Figma and have a question.

I have an overlay that is triggered after delay.
The thing is that I still have interactions in this frame but the overlay “blocks” it, everything is unclickable at the prototype because of the overlay.

I know the other way to achieve this is to use the “duplicate screens” method, but I dont really want to do that.
Is there a way to fix this issue or do I have to do the “long way”

    you will need to buy it so you can use interactive components 

    This is wrong. Interactive components are available on any plan, including the free one.

    Please refer to the help article mentioned at the beginning of this thread.

    Thank you! i just found it while i was trying to research. You have to make it a component then create a variation for it. then prototype it, instead of overlay use “change to”. THANK YOU for the correction!
