Hey everyone,

I’m a beginner in Figma and still figuring things out. Here is what I’m struggling with at the moment:

I want the text ”DINORIGAMI“ to appear on the screen. This is suppose to happen by an animation that zooms out. The first frame is suppose to show the inside of the ”R” hole, then zoom out, so the whole text is visible.
I tried to recreate this effect with some tutorials I watched on zooming but unfortunately couldn’t make it work.

I‘m happy for any feedback or further questions. Thank you in advance!

Thank you very much for taking the time to help! I was able to recreate it in this way by using a font in Figma itself.

My problem now is that the font i use in my example isn’t actually a Figma font but one from illustrator that I exported as a png and I can’t make it work using the same method. Sorry that I forgot to make that clear in the original post.

Is there a way to create the same effect using a png. file rather than a Figma font itself?

Thank you again! 🙂

Sure, just replace font with image. Everything do the same way.
But i don’t recommend to use png, it would be better quality if you use svg (vector format of image).
