I’m trying to use a shape to mask an instance of a component (which holds a image). I was always under the impression that you can mask objects such as frames, and not only graphics. Is that correct? Normally, I can see the mask group with the arrow pointing up from the masking shape.

If I try this with my instance, the arrow is cut off and the masking does not work:

Was there a change in the latest Figma update or was it never possible to mask a frame?
