Hello @Celine_Figma
Thanks for the clarifications. Much appreciated.

I have a question. I manually uploaded an image to a Figma file. After selecting the uploaded image, I noticed that clicking on the image name(image.png in this case) in the right panel of the Figma UI (refer to the attached screenshot) opens the image in a new tab.

The URL of this image (opened in the new tab) is accessible without requiring login. Does this mean that images uploaded to Figma are publicly accessible? Or, Am I missing anything here?

Hey @Saravanan A R ,

Yes, images uploaded to Figma can be accessed publicly if the direct link is shared. When you upload an image to a Figma file, it generates a URL that can be opened in a new tab.

However, while the URL is accessible without requiring login, it is important to note that the image will only be viewable by those who have the direct link. This means that unless someone has the link, they cannot access the image. Therefore, while the image is technically publicly accessible, it is not discoverable without the specific URL being shared.

This ensures a level of privacy as only those with the link can view the image.
