How would you visually represent dream symbolism in Figma?

I’ve been exploring how abstract topics like dream symbolism can be represented visually in a simple and approachable way.

Snake dreams are an interesting example because the same symbol can feel completely different depending on the dream. For one person, a snake might represent fear or uncertainty; for another, it could be associated with change, curiosity, or something they’re trying to understand.

From a design perspective, I think this creates an interesting challenge: how do you communicate different possible meanings without making the design feel too literal or suggesting that there is only one “correct” interpretation?

If you were designing a Figma interface around dream interpretation, what visual approach would you use?

  • Symbol-based cards?

  • Mood or emotion indicators?

  • Illustrations with short explanations?

  • A more minimal editorial layout?

I’d be interested to hear how other designers would approach this kind of subjective content and make it feel visually engaging without overwhelming the user.
