Figma Mirror : Switching to next screens instead of following the prototype link

So normally the app worked fine on my android phone but recently I guess a new update is rolled out and clicking on left/right side of any screen just opens the next or previous screen while ignoring the actual prototype navigation.
Any buttons on left or right side of screen are not clickable now in prototype. Anyone facing this issue or knows a solution?

Yup, I have the same problem on iOS. Makes the prototype unusable

has anyone found a fix for this? it’s causing major problems in my user testing

I guess I’ve found the solution. The prototype switches screens when you start if from middle of a flow by clicking a frame. But it works like a prototype when you play it from the start of a flow.
