Figma loads but shows a broken or pixelated canvas. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, tried webgl and every other thing possible. It’s does this on both desktop and website for chrome but on Mozilla website it working well. What can I do please?

Hey @Damisy — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for flagging this! Really appreciate you sharing which troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried.

I just tested Figma Design on both Google Chrome and the Desktop App a few moments ago, and my file displayed as expected on my end. 🤔 To help narrow things down further, could you check a few more details? 🔍

  • Are you using the latest version of the Figma Desktop App (currently 125.5.6)?
  • Since it works on Mozilla but not Chrome, can you confirm you’re running the latest Chrome version (138.0.7204.158 or later) and that no browser extensions are interfering with the display?
  • Is this happening with all your Figma files, or just a specific one?
  • Are you running the latest operating system on your device?
  • Does restarting your device resolve the pixelated display?

If everything above checks out and the issue persists, our Product Support team can also take a closer look at the file itself. When you get a chance, please reach out to them directly and include:

  1. the link to this Forum thread for context
  2. a full-size screen recording of steps leading up to the display issue (if possible)
  3. a link to the affected file, making sure support-share@figma.com has edit access.

Keep us posted. Let us know how it’s going!
