Figma agent not working


I’ve tried all the the solutions suggested by the community but nothing seeming to be working so far. I have installed and uninstalled the Figma agent app too many times, set the program to initiate on startup, I’ve also restarted by device and browser multiple time to no avail.

It doesn’t work on the desktop app too. and when I try to access my local font from the settings I see this

Even when it is correctly installed in the Appdata folder.

I have been struggling with the problem for days and it is really frustrating because none of the solutions seem to work. Can anyone help me please?

Great that you’ve also tried some troubleshooting steps by yourself. I can get you connected to our technical quality team if your issue does not get resolved.

Please answer me the following questions:

  1. Can you confirm if you’re using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and clear your browser cookies / cache and check if this helps?
  2. Can you share your device specs?
  3. Could you try restarting your device once you’ve installed Font Helper?

Your local font should be available by default on the desktop app.

  1. Can you please Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. Also, can you try clearing out your cached files and see if that helps? Please follow these steps: Clear desktop app cache

Hello! @Gayani_S, thank you for your support! I’ve cleared by cache on Chrome and Brave browser which I use interchangeably but this didn’t solve by problem. I use a HP pavilion tpn-c125. yes, I’ve tried restarting my P.C severally but this didn’t solve this problem also.

Your local font should be available by default on the desktop app but you’ve cofirmed that you weren’t able to access them. I’d suggest to Download Figma desktop app debug logs and share it with the team.

Our support team usually takes up to 24 hours to reply back to emails - tends to be quicker than that in normal circumstances. However, please be aware that we are facing increased contact volume so there might be a delay.
